Since 2006, I've been writing a weekly humor column for Hamodia that's been syndicated in over a dozen papers, magazines, and websites, including Aish.com. Click here for a link to some of my columns on Aish.
For a bunch of years, I wrote a humorous advice column for The Jewish Press, in which readers wrote in with questions and problems, and I proceeded to be surprisingly unhelpful. But at least they feel better about it. Most of those columns now appear in the book, "Dear Mr. Schmutter..." They're Asking Me? and the column has since moved to Hamodia.
I also work with Yishaya Suval to create The Bunny Rabbi -- a page-long comic strip about an extremely diverse shul that doesn't let their differences bother them. The first few of those are posted after the link. These days, the older Bunny Rabbi strips are being syndicated in Jewish World of Wonder Magazine under the title, Tails Out of Shul. I also write another comic for JWOW called Table Talk, about a bunch of items on a Shabbos table that come to life when no one's looking. Or so I assume.
Most of what I’ve written is available for syndication. If you have a paper or magazine and would like to run a column or comic strip that is kosher and family-friendly, syndicating work I’ve already written is significantly cheaper than commissioning new work, and since it’s already written, you’re guaranteed to get it in time for your deadlines.
